Returns and Refunds Terms

  1. Return Notification:
    You must notify Goodbargain of your intention to return a product within 7 days of purchase by emailing us at info@goodbargain.co.za.
  2. Proof of Damage or Defect:
    If your item is damaged or defective, we will request that you provide photographs of the product and send them to info@goodbargain.co.za for review.
  3. Return Costs:
    • If you are returning an item because you no longer want it, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
    • If the item is defective or damaged upon delivery, Goodbargain will cover the return shipping costs.
  4. Manufacturer Returns:
    Products must not be returned directly to the manufacturer. All returns should be coordinated through Goodbargain.
  5. Inspection and Refunds:
    • Refunds, replacements, or credits will only be issued once the returned items have been received and inspected at our warehouse.
    • A 15% handling or transaction fee will be deducted from refunds for orders canceled due to a change of heart.
  6. Damaged or Defective Items:
    • If an item is damaged or defective, and we have stock, we will replace it.
    • If a replacement is not available, we will issue a full refund for the damaged item.
  7. Condition of Returns:
    • Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition.
    • Returns will not be accepted if there is evidence that the product has been used or altered.
  8. Shipping and Delivery:
    • The time for exchanged items to reach you may vary depending on your location.
    • For items valued over R500, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Goodbargain does not guarantee receipt of returned items.
  9. Refund Deductions:
    Refunds for items returned because they are no longer wanted will exclude the original shipping fee and incur a 15% handling fee.

Exclusions

The following items cannot be accepted for return:

  1. Products intended for consumption, such as groceries or beverages.
  2. Customized or personalized items made to client specifications.
  3. Perishable goods or items with a limited shelf life.
  4. Incorrectly ordered clothing or shoe sizes, unless explicitly confirmed via email.
  5. Items that cannot be returned due to their nature (e.g., hygiene products).
  6. Used or opened audio, video recordings, or software unless provided in a digital format.
  7. Reading materials in any format.
  8. Bookings for services like accommodation, travel, transportation, or events scheduled for a specific date or period.
